Meet Dr. Cook

Rancho Santa Margarita OrthodontistDr. Debra Cook received here D.D.S. Degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, graduating at the top of her class and distinguishing herself as a recipient of the California Dental Association Scholarship Award. She also was one of just a handful to be selected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon (Phi Beta Kappa). Dr. Cook then received her Master of Science degree and specialty in orthodontics from Loma Linda University.

Dr. Cook is a personable and compassionate person who enjoys connecting with her patients. When people have appointments with her, she likes the challenge of making everyone feel comfortable and important. Dr. Cook and her husband have two active girls who play softball. She and her husband enjoy watching their daughters play ball. Dr. Cook also enjoys walking the family dog and playing piano in her spare time.

Our Staff

We strive to provide each of our patients with energetic and fun loving service.  Our staff is fully trained and highly skilled. Each member of our treatment team is a registered assistant and our office staff has many years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We stay in step with the very latest technological advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.

Types of Braces We Use

Patients today have more options than ever when it comes to wearing braces thanks to many recent advancements made in orthodontics. The metal braces we use are smaller than metal braces used a few years ago and are more comfortable and attractive.

The Invisalign System is a series of clear overlay aligners which are computer simulated to gradually move teeth. This system is available to adults and some teenagers with certain bite problems. When you're wearing Invisalign, no one has to know that you are having your teeth straightened unless of course you wish to tell them!

The translucent ceramic braces we use are popular among adult patients due to their cosmetic appeal. The clear brackets and wires we use blend in with your teeth more, diminishing the appearance of the brace all together.
